Notifications

Receive budget, model retirement, provider health, compliance, and organization limit alerts

Open the Notifications bell in the dashboard header, then select Notification settings. Choose In-app, Email, both, or neither for each alert type. Most alerts start disabled; the compliance alerts start enabled for everyone in the organization's alert audience, and organization limit alerts start enabled for owners and admins. Email delivery always requires a verified email address. Your preferences apply across projects you can access.

AlertWhen it appears
API key budgetsA regular API key reaches your selected percentage of its lifetime or recurring budget. The default threshold is 80%.
Model retirementsA model mapping you used in the last 30 days is scheduled for deprecation or deactivation within 30 days. The alert links to the model catalogue so you can choose a newer model.
Provider issuesA provider you used in the last 30 days has elevated upstream errors in its recent traffic.
Compliance: models availableA model your organization watches becomes routable under its compliance policy.
Compliance: downgradesA provider, or a watched model, stops meeting your organization's compliance policy.
Organization limitsA seat or API key limit blocks directory sync (SCIM), an SSO sign-in, an invite, or a new API key. Sent to owners and admins.

Organization limit alerts are sent at most once per day for each kind of limit; rejected directory sync pushes are also listed in the audit log. Budget alerts repeat for each new recurring period, or when you change the limit or alert threshold. Unlimited keys do not trigger budget warnings. Each scheduled model retirement is announced once; ongoing provider issues produce at most one alert per day per project, or per accessible key for developers.

Provider alerts require at least 20 non-cached, non-client-error requests and an upstream error rate of at least 20% in the latest hourly statistics window. Stale statistics do not trigger alerts. Checks run about once a minute; these warnings are not a guarantee that every outage or budget crossing will be caught before a request fails.

Compliance alerts follow organization role instead of project access: you receive them while your role is inside the audience the organization selected, and leaving that audience hides them from the inbox and stops pending email. They are also the only alerts that can be posted to a shared Slack channel, once per organization rather than per recipient.

Every other notification follows your existing project permissions. Developers receive alerts only for their own keys in assigned projects. Removed project access also removes those alerts from the inbox and prevents pending email delivery.

The inbox shows your 50 most recent in-app alerts. Open an alert to follow its action, or select Mark all as read to clear the unread indicator. Turn off a channel in notification settings to stop future delivery through it.
